My piece 'Comunion' for the Gallery Show �IDOL WORSHIP: THE DETOURNEMENTS OF JEREMY SAFFER" at ExhibitAGallery in Los Angeles California. When I saw JeremySaffer photos of Ville Vallo, I immediately envisioned what I wanted to create with them. They evoke such a peaceful yet profound and elevated vision of Ville. I tried to portray the inner world of VV expanding and creating itself, using the icons of my own illustrated world as its skin. Mixing the dark, melancholic feeling of his music with a glimpse of the mystical and occult side of my work. I feel honored to have such a great picture for inspiration and as a base for this new piece that I created.
