"Forest Treasure" is a sleepy, little dryad child who is well-guarded by many woodland spirits. This photographic art image was taken on location with costume, hair and, make-up created and applied by me, Susan Schroder. The gold accents were hand applied gold leaf. It was quite a challenge with such a young child for a model! But she was wonderful and a good sport to be put nearly inside this hollow, ancient tree on a chilly spring day. Some of the fantasy effects (also created and painted by me) were later added into the image using photoshop. Susan is both a traditional and digital artist and also a professional photographer.
