Ivy and Asphodel, September 2018 Ink and gold leaf 22 x 22 cm In classical mythology, Ivy is the symbol of wisdom. Asphodels are the plants that flower in the fields where souls go to rest after death. This piece is a celebration of the wisdom of knowing death is not the end of a life, but a continuation in a different dimension.
