A Merfolk's Dream Deep within the ocean's heart, Where coral castles stand apart, A merfolk dreams of skies so blue, A world beyond the salty dew. he sees the sun, a golden gleam, Reflected in a waking dream, And longs to feel the gentle breeze, Amongst the vibrant, waving trees. But duty calls, a whispered plea, To guard his kingdom, wild and free, So he returns to watery grace, A merfolk, with a wistful face. 12x16 Mixed Media on Board
