Description
Ink on paper, sized 84x59cm, "The Hag of Carrigogunnell" reimagines the Irish legend of the witch who once haunted the hill where only ruins now remain. The drawing examines the persistence of fear and memory, how superstition becomes architecture, and how a place can inherit the darkness of its stories. The hag is less a monster than a residue of collective guilt, a spirit shaped by the human need to name and contain the unknown.
