As a kid, I was fortunate to live in Japan for a few years, an experience filled with unforgettable memories. One that stands out is capturing Japanese stag beetles and pitting them against each other in battle. The clash of their armored bodies, the scrape of their powerful mandibles, and the sheer intensity of their fights were mesmerizing. I wanted to capture that memory infused with a touch of my own fantasy vision by bringing it to life through a pair of goblin knights locked in combat.
