Description
Ambush out of sight Still, what the devil fears is what the Raven knows The idea behind this painting is the “aloneness” that many abuse victims have experienced. There were no witnesses to their suffering, so they feel alone and abandoned. In Norse mythology, Odin’s ravens are his “watchers”. I believe we too are watched, and that every wound is remembered by Someone who cares. (Isaiah 61:1-4)
