This work is a direct contrast to the classic "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil." That has always felt like burying one's head in the sand to me. All evil needs to flourish is for good people to do nothing. Like weeds in the garden it flourishes in disturbed ground and thrives on neglect. It's why this triptych collectively is titled Evil Cannot Hide from Us. Throughout history in our myths, legends, and religions we have blended the aspects of other animals with humans. In these I have done the same quite bluntly: I Hear You, a rabbit for hearing and being alert I See You, a tiger for seeing even that which attempts to blend in I Will Speak Up, a raven for speaking out. As a good friend put it, "they never shut up."
