Description
How blessed are some people, whose lives have no fears, no dreads; to whom sleep is a blessing that comes nightly, and brings nothing but sweet dreams. -Bram Stoker I made a point to only work on this piece at night totally for the vibes and not just because of the screen glare during the day. Over these past two months I was pouring over the details of drapery and rat anatomy next to my sleeping husband for a good portion of this painting, until it started keeping him awake, and then I moved to the couch where I could keep my goldendoodle awake instead.
