Description
This piece debuted last November at Last Rites Gallery in NYC, as part of my gallery show "The Animal Within". The word Parcae is the Roman name for the three fates. They rule the thread of life- the first to spin the thread, the second to measure it, and the third to cut. Also seen as birth, life and death. I wanted this piece to have a religious feel while reflecting a mix of spiritual symbols and influences.
