This artwork is my homage to one of my idols in painting - the German painter Carl Spitzweg (1808-1885). So I used his image "The Butterfly-Hunter" from 1847 as a reference for this artwork. I tried to create my digital brushes in that way comparable to the traditional brushes of Spitzweg and find the color palette comparable to the original painting. It was fun! :)
