This was a harvest moon that warm September night. Soft honey light streamed through the window. The curtains rippled gently in the night breeze and I felt at peace. Stirred by an unfamiliar murmur, a rustle, could it be voices? Curiosity drew me to the window. I pulled the muslin drapes back. From that moment onwards I would never be the same.
