Kelley grew up in a red house buried in the trees, surrounded by the company of animals both domestic and wild. Her father was a thrill-seeker and took their family on many adventures, while her mother instilled a fascination with the spiritual and holy places. These elements rooted in her subconscious an affinity towards nature, symbolism and mythology. They inspire her art and give her a visual language to create her own stories and archetypes, personifying our emotions and fears both bright and dark.
