Anthony Christou is an Australian illustrator, fine artist, and graphic novelist based in Adelaide, South Australia. A practicing artist since 2009, he holds a Master of Art and Design from the University of South Australia. Anthony creates concept art, illustration, and fine art for projects across the film, video game, and tabletop industries.

Since 2012, he has exhibited extensively, appearing at every major comic convention in Australia—ranging from fourteen to twenty shows per year—and has been a prominent figure at national pop culture events. His work has also reached international audiences, including exhibitions in New Zealand and the United States, such as IlluxCon in 2018. In 2020, his work was acquired by the Tokyo Living Art Museum. Since 2020, he has served as a guest fantasy artist for all Supanovas and major comic conventions across Australia.

Anthony works across genres including fantasy, science fiction, mythology, fairy tales, and horror. Since 2016, he has been developing his flagship project, the Luminous Ages series, which spans art, comics, and card games. He has also contributed to projects with Disney and the video game Path of Exile, and is represented by Tate Licensing Americas, one of the leading fantasy and illustration licensing agencies.

His comics and artwork explore themes of multiculturalism and are inspired by mythology, diversity, and environmentalism. Passionate about animals and the natural world, Anthony frequently weaves environmental narratives into his creations. He is recognized for blending traditional and digital painting techniques, with a deeper love for traditional media such as acrylics, oils, and gouache, consistently pushing the boundaries of fine art and illustration.
