Infected by Art Book - Volume 12

I have been drawing since I could wield a crayon. I grew up surrounded by beautiful countryside, but it was the world of fantasy that inspired me the most. Much to my mother’s dismay, my childhood bedroom was muraled with drawings of dragons, and to this day it is epic fantasy art that inspires me to keep creating.

Drawing and sketching helps me to make sense of the world, and so a sketch book is never that far away. For me, part of the reason why art is so magical is its ability to be universally understood, but to also be uniquely personal. It is this belief that challenges me to push the narrative further in each of my paintings.
